What's an Arbitrarium? I suppose an arbitrarium is a place where musical whims are on display. I play what I like, and I like a lot of stuff. But it's not too different; in this part of the spectrum, the standard anchor-points of musical familiarity have merely been exchanged for others. You will not find a lot of "hits" here, unless you, too, are someone who could spend a week browsing at Amoeba.
Requests
- Check to see if a DJ has a song, first. Some provide convenient search functionality. More links to DJ lists may be found on the Wiki.
- Requests cannot be filled for an hour, due to DMCA-related statuatory licensing limitations. If you are particularly non-specific in your suggestions (for instance, style or artist only), you may be able to get a faster response.
- Not all shows take requests. If a quiz is running, a themed set is playing, or a DJ is in the last hour of his or her show, requests may not be taken.
- If requests are being taken, and you do want to request a song from me , just let me know in Chat. I'm slow, so keep at me until you get a response.
- If you request a song that includes potentially offensive language, or whose availability you have not checked via the search page, I might not take requests from you for a little while.
- Please don't request songs that already get played a lot. Variety is the spice of life. Actually, it's often the main dish, too.
